The games are to be held in New Delhi between 3rd and 14th October, 2010. Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010 is expected to be the biggest multi-games event to be held in India. The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. The venues for the games include Jawaharlal Nehru, Tyagaraj Stadium, Siri Fort Sports, Dhyan Chand National Stadium, Indira Gandhi Arena, Delhi University, Yamuna Sports Complexes, Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, SPM Swimming Pool Complex, Talkatora Stadiums, and RK Khanna Tennis Complex.
